Great Ideas for Toys

Toy Swapping: Children soon tire of the toys they play with as a result parents often by mounds of toys only to realise that they have nowhere to store all of them and really who can afford to run out and buy their child a new toy every time they get bored with the ones. One of the moms in our playgroup had an excellent suggestion, she mentioned that if each mom in our playgroup took some of their child’s toys (not expensive or sentimental ones) and cleaned them - maybe just soak them in the bath with a little bit of Miltons and put them in a box, each week when we met we could exchange boxes. This would ensure that each child would always have some new and novel toys to play with and by the time those same toys came back after all the exchanges the children would have forgotten about them and it would seem like a whole box of new toys all over again. Indeed a very good idea!
